Mainstay Hotels Australia has partnered with the travel/ tourism industry to contract hotel rooms at discount prices that are located in popular Australian tourist regions to ensure these discount travel coupons are widely available.

The Go Koala Hotel Pass is a comprehensive discount travel coupon product offering the traveller a convenient, flexible and cost effective way to purchase hotel rooms at discount prices.

This Go Koala discount travel coupon has been designed specifically for the independent traveller and incorporates over 260 hotels offering hotel rooms at discount prices... ranging from 3 to 5 star standard in over 180 key city, regional and resort locations throughout all the states and territories of Australia.

The hotels in the Go Koala travel voucher programme have been carefully selected for their convenient locations, quality and high standard of personalised service.

Why use Go Koala?

All of the Go Koala discount travel coupon product is available for purchase from Holidays Allover and represents a significant overall saving on published tariffs for accommodation.

You have the choice of pre-booking your entire Australian itinerary... or alternatively you can purchase an open dated discount travel coupon.

A free book ahead service is available via the Central Reservations Office of Mainstay hotels after you arrive in Australia... This gives you great flexibility... Regardless of whether you have a pre-booked itinerary or are travelling on open dated travel vouchers.

Easy to use travel vouchers

There are no minimum or maximum night restrictions unless specified by a specific property, simply use one discount travel coupon per night at your choice of hotel... Maximum 3 adults... or 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years, per room.

Any unused travel vouchers should be sent back to Holidays Allover and you can check with us prior to departure on the refund policies... We will charge you an administration fee and refunds can only be processed on return of the original voucher travel.

How to choose a property using the discount travel coupon colour codes

The range of discount accommodation is so varied that the hotels have been divided into five colour categories to assist you when planning your holidays. Search our online 'hotel coupons' directory to find Go Koala properties to plan your trip.

Colour categories are determined by each properties standard double room tariff (price level), not the quality or AAA rating of the property... In premium tourist destinations, located is also considered... Below is a guide to the colour codes.

Note: Properties which are located remotely like Ayers Rock Bond Station, Hamilton Island, Cradle Mountain Tasmania, and most properties in the Northern Territory and northwest Australia (Kimberley region) must be pre-booked.

Hotel features... All hotels in the Go Koala discount travel coupon programme offer rooms that are equipped with:

• Private ensuite bathrooms
• Tea/coffee making facilities
• Television/radio
• Direct dial telephone
• Heating/cooling

If you wish to upgrade your standard of accommodation after arrival in Australia, you may do so by using the voucher you are holding and paying the following retail surcharges

• Surcharges are payable direct to the hotel upon check in
• No refund is available if you stay in a property that has a lower pass category than the value of your hotel voucher
• The room type available at each hotel on the applicable Go Koala hotel pass level is stated in the directory

Guaranteed bookings... Pre-booked reservations made through Holidays Allover prior to arrival in Australia will be guaranteed and a room will be held for you.

If you travel on open dated vouchers and plan on making reservations after you arrive in Australia, you will be required to quote your credit card number to guarantee your reservation... All major credit cards are accepted. Open dated vouchers do not ensure availability and Holidays Allover would recommend you pre-book your accommodation at least 24 hours in advance.

Occupancy... Maximum 3 adults or 2 adults/ 2 children under 12 years, per room.

Child policy... The first child 12 years of age and under sharing with adults and using existing bedding is free of charge. The extra person rate applies to the second child... Charges may apply if a cot is requested; this is to be paid direct to the hotel.

Check in check out times... Check in is 2.00 pm on the day of arrival with check out time generally 10.00 am. For any variations, you would need to contact the hotel direct.

Cancellation policies... Cancellations can be made either direct with the hotel or via the Mainstay hotels toll free Central Reservations Office - in either case, your cancellation must reach the hotel prior to 12.00 pm, 24 hours before the date of stay otherwise full cancellation charges will apply.
