An Australian ranch-stay vacation is more than country accommodation. It's a total package of fine food, entertainment, farm experiences and activities. 

Meet real Australians and enjoy famous Aussie hospitality on an Australian farmstay when you take the opportunity to experience the real Australia and spend time with Australian country families on working rural properties or outback stations... from tropical north Queensland, the remote outback of Alice Springs, Tasmania, the Blue Mountains, Perth in Western Australia or country Victoria... and farmstays are perfect to combine with an Australian self-drive itinerary.

On many farms, accommodation is available in the family homestead or in separate modern cottages or in retreats with private bathrooms.

An Australian farmstay is a complete package including fine 'home-cooked' meals, entertainment and most importantly real "Aussie: experiences that you will talk about for years to come.

Minimum stay is 1 night, but we suggest a minimum stay of 2 nights at each farm. Advise how you intend to travel, e.g - self-drive, coach or train. Your farm stay may be booked with or without transfers. If you're arriving by car, please make your own way to the property, using the location map and directions for self-drive travellers supplied after confirmation of booking.

Country style retreats are luxury properties located in country and rural Australia but are not necessarily working farms... They are ideally located in some of the most beautiful parts of Australia. Most properties are suitable for the self-drive traveller or those travelling using "public" forms of transport including scheduled bus, rail or regional air services. Transport options and transfers from the nearest airport, train station or scheduled bus service terminals are available on request

Included and conditions:

• Children 3 - 12 years as specified or otherwise at 50% of adult rate. Infants 1 - 2 years 25% of child rate
• Meals - as specified
• Bed and breakfast - full breakfast or basket breakfast
• For self-drive only properties - transfers are not available
• Self-drive instructions and maps are available after reservations are confirmed
• Non self-drive - transfers are operated by nominated operator or the property

Not included:

Recommended arrival/departure time:
• 3.00pm arrival after lunch (day 1)

Self-contained and self-catered - separate to the main homestead

• Self-contained properties provide continental breakfast (in a basket or something similar)
• self-catered properties provide excellent cooking facilities... Guests purchase their own provisions for all meals prior to arriving at the farm
