Austrail flexipass is the "big one" and is the
ideal way for overseas visitors who want to travel by rail
on a train vacation to experience Australia within a designated
time frame... Economy class travel on discount train trips
is over 15 or 22 days, and is valid for unlimited travel by
rail in economy/Red Kangaroo Daynighter seats, for the applicable
flexi days purchases, over a six month period. This is an
economic way to enjoy rail travel all over Australia. Go to
Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane and Canberra,
or travel along the east coast all the way up to Cairns.
Pass allows:
- The Austrail Flexipass is available for travel on rail
services operated by Great Southern Railway, Queensland
Rail and Countrylink.
- The pass is not available for travel on any Queensland
rail city train service, however is available for use on
the Kuranda Scenic Railway and The Gulflander.
- This pass can be used on all cityrail services operated
by New South Wales state rail.
- The pass is not available for use on the Spirit of Tasmania.
Austrail Flexipasses are available only to overseas visitors
holding valid passports.
