A rail pass allows economical rail vacations:
- 6 months unlimited train travel and stopovers
along the East Coast on Country link and Queensland Rail
services.
- One direction of travel only (no backtracking)
- Combines the states of Queensland, New
South Wales and Victoria
- Links the cities of Cairns, Townsville,
Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne
- 50% discount on rail travel when taking an inland
rail journey in New South Wales and 50% off an
additional Queensland Outback rail journey
- 50% discount on rail travel when taking a rail
journey back to the point of origin in New South Wales or Queensland
- Coastal rail-coach connections to the
Whitsundays, Fraser Coast, Yeppoon, Byron Bay, Port Macquarie,
Yamba and Forster
- One-way Citytrain connection between
Gold Coast and Brisbane
- Not available for travel on any suburban
or interurban service.
