T he following general terms and conditions apply. However, regional circumstances, contractual
obligations to suppliers, and matters relating to location, product type and supply logistics may cause these to be varied slightly for specific products, or specific destinations.

Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they describe the basis upon which bookings are accepted by Holidays Allover Pty Ltd (Holidays Allover)

   
 

How to book

We recommend you book as early as possible particularly if you are planning to take your holiday in a school holiday or seasonal 'peak' period. see How to book your holiday

Reservations made and prices quoted are subject to availability and price confirmation only at the time you book.

Holidays Allover Pty Ltd., trading as Holidays Allover (a Licensed/AFTA/Bonded Travel Agent), shall hold all deposit or tour monies received in a trust account for the benefit of each and every person named in the booking, until the booking is confirmed, then those funds shall be forwarded to the individual service provider.

Group and conference travel... As group and conference rates are specially negotiated and specifically contracted with the supplier for a particular group, they can have different terms and conditions to standard holidays. If you are booking a group, please make sure these conditions are explained.

Responsibility

The sale of services detailed on this Internet web site are made by Holidays Allover Pty. Ltd. (trading as Holidays Allover) acting as agent for the company, business or person supplying the service.

Your use of this site is expressly conditional on the terms and conditions detailed in our User Agreement... By using this site, you signify your assent to these terms and conditions... If you do NOT agree with any part of this User Agreement, you must NOT use this site.

In producing these web pages Holidays Allover has relied on information supplied by those supplying the service and Holidays Allover disclaims and will be exempt from liability in respect of anything misleading, false, incomplete or inaccurate and any errors, incorrect description and all associated disappointment, loss, expense, damage, inconvenience, delay, death, shock, illness or injury, however caused.

Holidays Allover does not control the manner in which services featured in this web site are provided, and Holiday Allover disclaims and will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply of such services.

This includes liability (whether as a matter of contract, tort, statute, restitution, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, liability, claim, cost, expense, proceeding, demand, penalty, disappointment, death, injury, illness, shock, inconvenience or delay.

It also applies irrespective of the cause, including negligence by us or a service provider, withdrawal, cancellation or failure to provide a service, delay, any variation in the service, the provision of substitute services or a change in the service providers. Photos, which appear, are provided as a guide only.

Passenger Names It is absolutely essential that the names and initials of passengers given to Holidays Allover are correct. Please check that we have these details recorded correctly. Name changes after a booking has been made may mean having to cancel the original booking and the resultant loss of the seat/s... Any request for name or initial changes after documents have been issued has the same risks and also attracts ticket re-issue charges from both the airline and service providers. Holidays Allover cannot accept any responsibility for additional expenses incurred, as a result of incorrect notification of any passenger's name.

Booking deposits and final payment

Deposits

  • Bookings of $500 or less, or bookings travelling within 30 days will be required to pay the full amount at the time of confirmation.
  • Bookings over $500 or travelling more than 30 days out will be required to pay a minimum deposit of $55 per adult or $110 per booking whichever is greater. A deposit holds services but does not guarantee prices.

Final payment

  • Full payment of your holiday cost must be made no later than 30 days prior to travel, or by sale end date, or by the payment deadline specified in individual package conditions, whichever is earliest.
  • With bookings made 30 days or less prior to travel, full payment of holiday cost must be made within 24 hours of confirmation of your booking.
  • If the booking is made 7 days or less prior to travel, full payment of holiday cost is required at the time your booking is confirmed.

Please ensure payments are made within the specified time limits. If this does not happen, our computer system automatically cancels the booking without notice or liability to you.

Only upon payment of the full cost of your holiday do you have a final booking with the Supplier of the relevant good and/or service... In arranging your booking Holidays Allover is acting as the agent of the Supplier of the relevant Product and at no time do you have a contract with Holidays Allover.

Minimum booking requirement... bookings of less than $150 will incur a service fee of $27.50 per booking.

Standard cancellation policy

  • Deposited bookings cancelled 30 or more days prior to travel - Deposit is non refundable.

    However, the security deposit less an amendment fee may be used towards a security deposit on another holiday booked through HolidaysAllover if booked within 12 months from the date of cancellation of the original booking.
  • After final payment - There will be no refund of your security deposit, in addition to any fees imposed by the Supplier, which may be up to 100% of monies paid.

    However, the security deposit less an amendment fee may be used towards a security deposit on another HolidaysAllover holiday if booked within 12 months from the date of cancellation of the original booking, provided the Supplier does not impose a cancellation fee.
  • Fully paid bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to travel - Deposit plus any fees levied by the suppliers.
  • All bookings cancelled inside 30 days prior to travel - Deposit plus and fees levied by the supplier.
  • Bookings cancelled within 7 days of travel - No refund

Cancellations must be in writing and addressed to the consultant who handled the booking.

If a credit has been approved it is valid for 6 months from he date the cancellation was made.

Special cancellation conditions... some accommodation and tour service providers will apply additional cancellation charges. These cancellation conditions and costs are referenced on the individual pages and will be clearly advised to you in writing at time of booking.

Fees, charges and penalties

Card fees... Please note that a card fee will be applied automatically to credit card payment amounts... Payments made by cheque or direct deposit do not attract any fees.

  2% - Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard
  3% - Amex, Diners Club

Amendment fees... If you wish to change your booking after confirmation but before you have made your final payment, an amendment fee of $27.50 will be charged for each amendment made in addition to any fees imposed by the service provider... If you require an amendment after full payment and the final documents have been prepared a fee of $A55 per amendment will be charged...and this will be additional to any fees charged by the service provider.

Change of itinerary after holiday has commenced... Any alteration or cancellation of services after your holiday has commenced can incur penalties. There is no refund for unused services.

Late booking fee... If a booking is made within 72 hours of departure, an additional fee of $A27.50 will be added to your holiday cost. This covers extra administration, communication and ticketing functions required to assist your holiday departure...you will, however, be told this when you make your reservation.

Accommodation, tours and cruise ships

Tour/Cruise itineraries: These operators reserve the right to alter itineraries at any time as a result of fire, flood, weather conditions or any other circumstance beyond their control, where they consider these circumstances may impact on the safety of their guests, passengers and clients.

In most cases children's prices for accommodation featured in this website refer to children occupying the same room/unit with at least two adults and using existing bedding. Additional charges will apply if extra beds (including rollaways and cots) are required.

Bonds or credit card imprints may be required by accommodation operators providing a telephone, mini bar and/or other facilities in the room. Other bonds may apply to certain product or at certain times of the year.

Final payment conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary, these are shown on the individual pages. We will advise you in writing of these conditions at the time of booking

Vehicle rentals

Rental car and campervan costs and conditions of hire are as shown on the web pages that relate to each supplier.

  • Cars: A cancellation fee of one day's hire cost is applicable if cancelled within 24 hours prior to use of vehicle.
  • Campervans: You MUST check and agree to the terms and conditions of hire on the relevant pages or sections on our web sites. For cancellation within 25 days prior to pickup, cancellation fees will apply.

Bareboat and crewed private charters

Booking Conditions: All cruise and dive boat operators have different and extensive conditions of booking, payment and cancellation. Please check the relevant information on the boat details page on our web sites, and if not provided, we will clearly identify these conditions when we confirm your booking.

Deposits: A booking deposit is required within 7 days of us confirming your booking in writing...the amount of deposit can vary, but is specified on the 'boat details' page.

Please Note:

1. If a deposit is not received by us within those 7 days your booking will automatically cancel in our computer system without notice or liability to you...

2. If a charter boat operator has different deposits and payment conditions, we will advise you in writing at the time we confirm your booking and before your credit card is charged.

Final payment: Full payment must be received 60 days before your charter start date.

Also payable on arrival and before departure:

  • Security bond of $A750 to $A2,000 depending on the size of the charter vessel.
  • A fuel bond on motor cruisers (if required by the charter operator)
  • Marine Park Authority fee (all visitors over 4 years old)
  • Provisioning if requested
  • Bookings made less than 60 days before your charter date must be paid in full within 72 hours of us confirming your booking...or your booking will be automatically cancelled by our computer without notice or liability to you.

The price of your charter is not guaranteed until full payment is received by Holidays Allover.

Reporting of incidents

Any abnormal incidents including cancellation of a service, injuries, service problems or dissatisfaction must be reported to Holidays Allover while you are experiencing the problem or incident to allow us an opportunity to provide assistance or help to rectify the situation.

Quoted prices on our web page

Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice. Some operators may impose conditions that vary from the conditions stated in this site. Prices listed in this site are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Prices do not include: Airfares (unless specified), airport taxes, meals (unless specified). They also exclude personal expenditure such as laundry, telephone calls, emergency evacuation costs, drinks, excess baggage, departure taxes, noise taxes, passport, visa fees, gratuities, insurance and travel costs. Cruise gratuities are often charged on the bill for services and are paid direct on board, port and handling charges must be pre-paid.

Travel and accommodation

The flights, coach journeys, boat trips, other travel and accommodation booked with us are supplied by reputable carriers and hoteliers on their own conditions. It is important to note therefore, that all bookings with Holidays Allover are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant service providers.

Travel insurance

It is extremely important...and we strongly recommend that at the time of booking you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy of your choice. It is essential that this insurance covers you for involuntary cancellation of your holiday including airfares. We recommend the policy include, but not necessary limited to the following cover:

  • Loss of deposit through involuntary cancellation
    We strongly recommend suitable travel insurance be purchased at or before the time of the reservation is made... you are then covered for any loss which you may suffer because of cancellation.
  • Loss of damage to personal baggage
  • Loss of money or medical expenses
  • When booking a charter boat you must insure for adverse weather conditions that could spoil your holiday...full cover for fares, accommodation and charter fees is available for little extra cost.

Transfers and tours

Some accommodation service providers provide courtesy transfers from airports/railway stations. It is essential that these transfers be pre-booked.

Some tour service providers have a complimentary pick up and return to your holiday accommodation. This service must be confirmed with the operator 24 hours prior to departure.

Some extended tours require a minimum number of passengers to operate. If minimum numbers are not achieved tours may be cancelled at short notice. Holidays Allover. Pty. Ltd. will not be held liable if an operator fails to promptly inform you of a service variation, cancellation, delay or withdrawal.
