From Airlie Beach following your Whitsundays maps, head south towards Mackay, turn off the Bruce Highway 91km south of Proserpine and drive inland to Mt Ossa... Drive 9km to join the Pioneer
Valley at Mirani and head west 62 km to Finch Hatton Gorge and
up the Clarke Range to Eungella and Broken River in Eungella
National Park.

Illawong Sanctuary – Australian fauna in an appealing
small zoo near Mirani.
Finch Hatton Gorge – Named after the two English
aristocrats who were the first Europeans to scale the region’s
highest peak, Mt Dalrymple (1277m). Includes waterfalls
and crystal clear creeks coursing through the rainforest.
Eungella
National Park – Eungella is Aboriginal
for ‘land of the clouds’. It is Australia’s
largest tract of subtropical rainforest and straddles
the Clarke Range.
