Hook Island Wilderness Lodge... Snorkel directly from the beach over an abundance of marine life. See a variety of soft, hard and plate corals and swim amongst hundreds of colourful fish that will even eat straight out of your hand. All snorkelling equipment and tuition (if required) is available with extras for first timers, e.g. life vests, coral viewing boards. Included is your admission to the historic "Underwater Observatory", a viewing chamber 6 metres below the surface. Observation ponds let you see living creatures up close. A fish feeding display from the observatory jetty is not to be missed.

Daydream Island Resort and Spa... Visit the south end village of Daydream Island Resort and Spa. Enjoy a drink or snack from the Boathouse while relaxing around the lagoon style swimming pool or take advantage of the range of activities including a variety of motorised water sports and snorkelling. The resort also has a colourful 19 hole "Putt your way around Australia" mini golf course, an exciting retail outlet 'Ginger's Hut' and is home to a magnificent coral reef lagoon, believed to be the world's largest outdoor aquarium with over 40 marine fish species and 50 coral varieties.
