There are so many things for kids to do on
Hamilton Island – with or without their parents!... Hamilton
Island provides a free kids club and has lots of family activities that are great
for all ages. If kids and parents need a bit of separate
playtime the Clownfish Kids Club caters for children from 6 weeks
to 14 yrs and offers lots of fantastic activities...
For those kids visiting with their parents on conference – there
is a unique Konference Kids programme which offers lots of
fun, games and activities.
Family resorts with kids clubs are not all that common in the Whitsundays, but Hamilton Island Resort offers you two clubs for kids, as well as allowing kids aged 0 to 14 years to
stay free* when sharing a room with parents
and using existing bedding. Kids can also eat
for free* when dining with parents in the following
restaurants:
- Toucan Tango (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Cascades (breakfast and lunch)
- Manta Ray (lunch and dinner)
Kids menus are also available at other selected
restaurants on Hamilton Island providing kids meals at a charge.
*The kids Stay and Eat Free programme
is available with most resort accommodation packages.

Konference
Kids
Konference Club Kids enjoy activity programmes specially developed
for the children of conference delegates allowing the children
to enjoy the many activities on Hamilton Island while making
new friends... The Konference Kids program offers two age
ranges for activities... 5-12 years and 13-18 years...
Children under 5 years can access the fully licensed Clownfish
Kids Club Child minding Centre.

| Hamilton Island’s child
minding facility, the Clownfish Club has been busy making
sure that kids on holiday go home with more than just a suntan!
The Clownfish Kids Club is the only fully accredited
childcare centre in the Whitsunday Islands which introduces
educational material into its programme to give
children a fun and learning holiday.
While the children’s days are
filled with fun activities including snorkelling, fishing,
nature walks, cooking and arts and crafts, videos, scavenger
hunts, there are many valuable life experiences gained
along the way.

The kids club recently
introduced aboriginal culture into the arts and crafts sessions
to give children from Australia and all over the world a
deeper appreciation of indigenous people and their place
in the Whitsunday regions history.
There is also a marine biologist
available to the centre who is able to explain the fragile
beauty of the Great Barrier Reef and the importance of
caring
for
our
marine
environment... these initiatives
support the Clownfish kids clubs philosophy that children learn best by
doing.

| Clownfish Kids Club Senior
Adventure Room (5 to 14 years) |

The Senior Adventure Room is for the big kids – aged
5 to 14 years. Activities done in the Senior
Adventure Room include snorkelling, swimming, fishing, mini
golf, chocolate making, kite making and much more.
Bookings are essential, so we recommend you visit or phone
the club when you arrive on the island to ensure you do not
miss out.
The following two sessions are available to club kids:

What to bring:
Please bring a hat, swimmers, comfortable
shoes and a water bottle. Please ensure you have applied

For those parents heading off island on a tour kids can be looked after all day including a lunch ordered from Toucan Tango.

Don’t drag that heavy pram away on holidays – the
Clownfish Kids Club has a range of prams and strollers, including
twin prams, to hire for your convenience at $13 per day...

The Clownfish Club offers high quality care and is operated
by fully qualified early childhood leaders.
Sessions in the Junior Child minding Centre are fun filled
with painting, blocks, play dough, dancing, sand sculpting,
climbing
and much, much more!!... The club is open 7 days a week from
8.30am to 5.30pm, and bookings are essential... It is recommended
you visit
or phone the club after you arrive to ensure
you do not miss out.
Kids 0 to 4 years choose from the following three sessions:
6 weeks - 2 years Room and 2 to 4 years Room

For parents heading off island on a tour the clownfish
club can also cater for all day care... however children
under 5 years
must have
a trial visit prior to parents leaving the island on a
full or ½ day tour. All sessions are subject to
availability, and special rates can be given to families
with multiple children. Please ask about extended visit
passes.
