trip from Shute Harbour on Australia's mainland to Hamilton
Island… All Blue Ferries arrivals are met on arrival
by Hamilton Island staff at Hamilton Island's Marina and transferred
to
their accommodation… The staff are more than happy to
help with baggage and disabled passengers.
A direct launch from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island takes
35 minutes... A launch from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island
via South Molle and Daydream Island's will take 1 hour.

- Child: One way $20 Return $40
(Children 3 years & under travel free of charge)
Note:
- It is not necessary to pre-book your ferry transfers
to Hamilton Island.
- Arrive at Shute Harbour a minimum of 30 minutes prior
to the ferry departure time.
- Purchase / collect your tickets from the ticketing office
called “Jillys at the Jetty”.
- Check in time on Hamilton Island is 2:00pm. Please
advise your arrival time details a minimum 24 hours prior

Proserpine is the nearest town
to Airlie Beach that you can get to by train. From there you
can get a bus transfer via Whitsunday’s Transit to Shute
Harbour.
Three scheduled services are available through Queensland Rail
servicing towns between Brisbane and Cairns, with all trains
stopping at Proserpine.
Queensland Rail services the Whitsunday area from the
north and south with approximately 8 services weekly.

Whitsunday Transit coaches also operate scheduled bus services

with express coach services operated by McCaffertys and Greyhound
at Airlie Beach and Proserpine.

Around the marina you will find a unique
village atmosphere where you can pick up any supplies you

store, butcher, chemist, bakery, nightclub, boutique, laundry,
pub, post office, bank and more.
Currently, the Hamilton Island Marina facility offers 205 berths
catering for vessels up to 45 metres, power up to 125
amps and a deepwater
access of
4.5m at LAT... Wireless internet network access is available
and the fuel jetty offers diesel, unleaded, and zoom
50 premixed fuel.
Hamilton Island Boatyard is situated
in the marina basin... Facilities include a 65 tonne
travel lift, mechanical,
electrical,
refrigeration, shipwright, antifouling and breakdown
services.
All vessels arriving at the marina should
contact the Marina Office on VHF channel 68 or by arrangement
via

listed below. Passenger ferries service the island
from the mainland and all other Whitsunday Island resorts.
