Catseye Bay Trail Grade 1
This is quite a pleasant walk and starts in front of the Hibiscus Apartments(1), wanders over the rolling hills along Catseye Bay to Hideaway Beach (3). This Hamilton Island trail is also the starting trail for Passage Peak, Escape Beach and South East Head trails.

Passage Peak Grade 3
This challenging Hamilton Island walk will take you to the top of Hamilton Island where you will have magnificent 360° panoramic views of the Whitsunday Islands. The large and magnificent Pentecost Island can be seen to the south and is the only island Captain Cook names as he sailed through in 1770. Turning off the Catseye Bay trail at (2), the path leads you up to the Saddle Crossroads (4). There are seats provided here so you can rest and regain your breath. Signposts here will lead you to the trail and up to Passage Peak (5).

South East Head Grade 3
This is a long walk and only to be attempted by experienced walkers. This Hamilton Island bush walk is a challenge but is well worth the effort however with great views south to Pentecost Island and the Lindeman group. Starting on the Catseye Bay trail make your way to the Saddle Crossroad (4) and follow the signs up the hill. At the T-junction (6) take the trail to the left (7) following the sign to Passage Peak until you come to another T-junction and take the track to the right which will lead you to Broken Point and South East Head (9).

Escape Beach Grade 3
This bush walk should only be attempted by experienced walkers with a good level of fitness as it is a long walk with steep island inclines and challenging terrain. Escape Beach on Hamilton Island is such a beautiful tropical untouched beach however that it makes the effort worthwhile. From the crossroads at (4) follow the signs up the hill to the T-junction at (6). Turn right and proceed along the ridge to the intersection at (8). Take the path to the right as the path to the left is a dead end finishing at (10). From here make your way carefully down the hill to Escape Beach (11).

Resort Lookout Trail Grade 2-3
This walk takes you to the top of the second highest peak on Hamilton Island. This lookout has views over the resort, harbour and out across the Whitsunday Passage. Starting from the airport side at (12), take the trail up to the T-junction at (13). Right takes you to Coral Cove so turn left and follow the trail all the way to the lookout at (16).

Coral Cove Grade 2-3
Start this walk from the airport side of the island at (12) and follow the winding trail up to the Y-junction at (13). Turn right to take the retail down to Coral Cove (14). This beautiful Hamilton Island beach is used by 4WD Safari Tours for BBQ's.

Ridge Walk Grade 3
This bush walk can be taken from two directions. The first is from the Crossroads at (4) which takes you up a steady climb along the ridge which divides Hamilton Island in two.
